In order to be able to talk about truly high-quality long-term storage, sufficient ventilation must be ensured in the silo. Ventilation in grain silos is made possible by means of a full-roof floor or ventilation ducts that are routed in the silo base plate and their shape is precisely designed according to the ventilation requirements. The extreme height of the silo also generates extreme pressure on the slatted panels and their supports. The patented TRI-CORR grating shape with reinforcing ribs in combination with PARTHENON supports exhibit very high strength and durability even at the highest specific pressures generated by the grain column. The air supply itself is provided by high-pressure radial fans of Czech manufacture, whose parameters are designed according to the storage purpose. In order to prevent condensate formation in the space under the silo roof, we install anti-condensation exhaust fans in Ex.

Eave Vent Kit

A new and very effective element of ventilation in BROCK silos is the so-called "Eave Vent Kit". This is a vent around the entire perimeter of the silo roof, instead of the commonly used vent stacks on the silo roof. The patented "Eave Vent Kit" solution allows the roof panels to be used without penetrations, i.e. smooth throughout, thus eliminating the possibility of leakage into the silos through the openings around conventional chimneys.

Combined with the roof anti-condensation fan, it ensures ideal airflow under the roof and thus removes saturated air from the space between the grain and the roof. The main ventilation is provided by high-pressure radial fans.
