The GRANOMAT capacitance hygrometer can measure all cereals, cereal grains, oilseeds, maize and malt.
The GRANOMAT capacity moisture meter, which is designed for post-harvest lines, can measure all cereals, pulses, oilseeds, maize and malt. The sample volume for analysis is 600 ml and the memory of the instrument can accommodate up to 100 different calibrations. GRANOMAT measures the capacitance (dielectric constant) of the inserted grain sample. The GRANOMAT determines the moisture content (%), the bulk density (kg/hl) and the temperature (°C) and displays the result on the display. This can be printed by the built-in printer or sent to a PC.
The sample is not scrubbed before being inserted into the probe of the instrument. The measurement is fully automatic. The operator simply inserts the sample into the instrument hopper, selects the product from the display and starts the measurement. The sample identification can also be inserted here. The GRANOMAT then measures the required quantity into the measuring probe itself, which guarantees the consistency of the bulk weight. The separating device then aligns the level, ensuring an accurate sample volume.
Measurement of capacity, weight and temperature takes place within seconds. The sample is then automatically emptied into the drawer and can be used for further analysis.
